ConEx Global iOS Platform for Expert-Led Business Conversations

Overview: Overview

Most professional advice today comes with delays. You search, you ask around, you wait for introductions, or you enter long advisory engagements. None of that helps when a founder or executive needs a quick, honest second opinion.

ConEx Global was created to solve that exact moment. The concept was straightforward: connect a real business question with the right expert and make it possible to talk directly on the phone without long forms, or unnecessary back-and-forth.

From an iOS standpoint, the challenge wasn’t just getting features to work. It was making the experience feel trustworthy from the first tap, especially for people using the app under pressure.

1

Watching How Decisions Actually Happen

Instead of relying on assumptions, we focused on how people behave when something important is at stake. The iOS experience was shaped around urgency, not exploration.

2

Designing for One Clear Outcome

Every screen was built with a single goal in mind: help two people get on a useful call. If an element didn’t support that, it didn’t make it into the app.

3

Iterating Directly on iOS

We built early versions, tested them on real devices, and paid close attention to how users moved through the app where they hesitated and where things felt natural.

4

Improving Flow Based on Real Use

As more users joined, patterns started to show. We adjusted matching signals, call timing, and interaction cues to keep things quick and comfortable.

The Problem

They didn’t want inboxes, long profiles, or endless notifications. They wanted to speak to someone who understood the situation and could help them think clearly.

Experts, on the other hand, were open to sharing their experience but only if they felt respectful of their time. Many existing platforms either felt noisy or reduced conversations to transactions.

The real challenge was balancing speed with respect, and simplicity with relevance—especially on a mobile-first iOS experience.

Our Role

  • Studying real-world decision-making patterns
  • Designing a focused iOS product flow
  • Prioritizing match relevance over volume
  • Ensuring reliable, low-friction calls

Project Challenges

Simple App Without Losing Intent

On iOS, fewer steps meant every action had to carry weight. We had to be very deliberate about what information was shown and when.

Preventing Poor Matches

Even a few bad connections could break confidence in the app. We spent time deciding what signals actually mattered and trimmed everything else.

Making Calls the Right Next Step

The transition from app to phone call had to feel smooth and expected. Timing, notifications, and visual cues all played a role here.

Results

These results didn’t show up in a presentation they showed up in how people used the app once it was live.

Quicker Access to the Right People

Users were able to connect with relevant experts in a short time, often without needing referrals or follow-ups.

More Focused Conversations

Because the matches were tighter, calls stayed practical and to the point, instead of drifting into general discussion.

Early Confidence in the Platform

Both leaders and experts kept coming back. That repeat usage mattered more to us than any metric it showed the app was useful when it counted.

How the App Supports Global Leaders Today

ConEx Global works because it respects how decisions are actually made. It doesn’t try to replace consulting, articles, or professional networks. It fills the space where those options fall short.

For us, this project was successful not because of what it included, but because when people chose to use it often during moments that really mattered. That’s usually the clearest sign that an app is doing what it was built to do.
